I have finally completed writing  the Enterprise Mobility Survey 2011 results report, and a complimentary copy is available for you to download here.  There were some very interesting findings in this report.  Here are a few from the survey:


  • 39.8% of companies have a strategic enterprise mobility plan in place.
  • 51.3% have no mobility policy in place.
  • 41.7% believe mobile apps will give them a competitive advantage.
  • 41.6% of survey respondents plan to deploy more than 6 enterprise mobility applications.
  • 78.6% of survey respondents will be integrating with multiple back end systems.
  • 73.7% will be outsourcing some or all of their enterprise mobile application development.
