Users of the iPad and iPhone are being tracked — by their mobile devices.  Researchers have uncovered a file inside Apple’s operating software that contains detailed records of a user’s location, according to the Wall Street Journal and other media reports.

Skype has updated its Android app to include VoIP calling over 3G in the U.S.  Previously, U.S. users could only place calls when connected to a Wi-Fi network. International users have been able to make calls over a cellular connection since the app was originally launched last year.
