Forrester Research reports that they expect the number of total tablet PC users in the United States to steadily climb to 82 million by 2015, up from 26 million in 2011.  Read Original Content




Mobile Ad agency Jumptab reports that during a ten-day span in August, the currently shutdown HP Touchpad tablet nearly out-gained Android tablets in generated advertising revenues.  This was largely a result from the $99 closeout special for the HP tablets.  Read Original Content



Juniper Research predicts that the value of mobile payments will reach $670 billion by 2015, up from $240 billion currently.  Recent efforts in mobility transactions including Google’s Wallet and new smartphones equipped with NFC chips will further increase the popularity of mobile payments.  Read Original Content




Forrester recently released a new study on the habits of tablet owners and how they relate to mobile shopping.  In the report states that 60 percent of tablet owners shop using their devices with 47 percent completing online purchases.  Read Original Content
