Pew Research has found that about nine percent of all adult mobile phone users in the U.S. have downloaded an app during 2010 that “helped them track or manage their health.” In its most recent survey in August 2011 Pew found that about 11 percent of all adult cell phone users having downloaded an app that helps them manage their health, representing a two percent increase in that time period. Recent studies from Pike Research suggests that there will be a steady increase in the number of telematics units being applied to vehicles in the next few years. This is largely based on the significant effects that telematics units can have on company fuel expenses. Read Original Content
