Ventureforth Delivers Mobile Enterprise Solutions for Oracle PeopleSoft Using Syclo's Agentry Platform

Ventureforth, a Syclo Independent Software Vendor, licenses and develops off-the-shelf mobile solutions for Oracle, PeopleSoft and Indus (Ventyx) with the configurable mobile platform architecture from Syclo’s Agentry platform.  This is interesting for two reasons:

  1. A system integrator is using Syclo's solutions to deliver mobile solutions and to build their practice.
  2. Syclo, SAP's co-innovation mobility partner, is highlighting their capabilities in the Oracle PeopleSoft systems market.
I want to highlight examples of systems integrators and ISVs using MEAPs (mobile enterprise application platforms) to build their businesses every time I get a chance.  This is a sign of market maturity that will benefit customers.  Very soon all systems integrators will have a mobility practice and will need to be standardizing on a few of the best MEAP vendors, and mobile application suites.

As MEAPs and mobility application suites mature, they will have better documentation, SDKs (software development kits) and training programs that will make them more appealing to partners and systems integrators.  As more implementations are completed successfully by partners, the experience gained will help the customer, the MEAP provider and the service provider.

In Ventureforth's case their customer Kansas City Utility deployed a mobile extension of its Oracle PeopleSoft and supply chain management systems using Syclo’s Agentry mobile enterprise platform technology.

If you have successful mobile implementation stories involving systems integrators please send them to me, and I will try to post as many as I can.
